Use of motorised boats is regulated in Dores - not banned altogether, but we like to keep things peaceful!

A cold day in Dores! Winters are usually quite mild, but this spell was about -10C.
Once a year, in early June, our little village of 150 people hosts about 30,000 more for the Rock Ness festival.
Boating in Dores Bay, late on a summer evening, when it can be light until after 11pm. Cameron Cottage now has its own slipway for launching small boats
